On Planet Theta, users are guaranteed to engage in VR dates within minutes of joining the platform, interacting solely with genuine users in VR Dating and other Social VR spaces.

Ensuring privacy and security are our foremost concerns. We have implemented quantum immune data protection measures to safeguard user information to an unprecedented extent. Recognizing the significance of security, particularly for marginalized groups and women, whether seeking a relationship in VR or bringing existing relationships to Planet Theta for virtual dates.

The core concept of our matchmaking revolves around simplicity. Users access our VR speed dating system by entering the Micro-Dating queue. Our algorithm matches users with others based on shared criteria for brief VR dates. If both parties enjoy the interaction, they can extend their micro-date into a virtual coffee date, allowing them time to decide on mutual interest before progressing to interactions beyond VR using this mobile app.

Upon matching during a date, users gain access to each other's comprehensive profiles, can exchange messages, share images, and engage beyond the virtual realm through this mobile app. Users have the freedom to choose whether to continue dating virtually or take their interactions outside into the physical world.

While providing matchmaking services in Virtual Reality is pivotal, Planet Theta aims to establish a virtual dating community where users can immerse themselves. Our Social VR spaces like Aaron’s Bar offer settings where individuals can enjoy meaningful interactions. Depending on personal preferences or circumstances like long-distance relationships, users may opt to enjoy VR dates within our spaces without specifically engaging in matchmaking. To access Planet Theta, you can launch it within the Meta/Oculus App Labs tab and enter using your Meta/Oculus Quest 2 or Quest Pro, enabling you to engage in VR Dating through standalone use of the Quest 2 or Quest Pro.
